Box Score LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's tennis team completed their regular season schedule with a win over the Colorado Christian Cougars 5-1 on Friday afternoon. The two teams played to clinch as weather was moving into the area.
Colorado Mesa won all three of the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead in the dual.
Emily Beckley and
Rebecca Osterberg paired at No. 2 doubles and scored a 6-0 win over Anderson and Soler.
Kristen Kirby and
Taylor Hershey won at No. 1 doubles 6-2 while
Nicole Kitsuse and
Georgia Hansen earned a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles.
Kirby didn't drop a game in her bout at No. 1 singles defeating Ritchey 6-0, 6-0.
Emily Beckley earned a win at No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-2 over Anderson.
The Mavericks will enter the RMAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed with the win and will play CSU-Pueblo at 4pm on Saturday at the Regency Athletic Complex.
