GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The No. 6 Colorado Mesa baseball team salvaged the series split with the Regis Rangers after a 4-3 win in the series finale on Sunday (April 15) at Suplizio Field.
The Mavericks took the early lead 2-0 after a RBI groundout by
Zach McLeod and a solo home run by
Garrett Ball. The home run by Ball was his first of the season.

Caleb Farmer scored Colorado Mesa's final run of the game in the bottom of the sixth inning on a passed ball to make it 4-1.
Regis would score two runs in the eighth but that is all the closer they would get.
Taylor Prokopis earned the win in his first start of the season. Prokopis (3-1) allowed one run on four hits, walked one and struck out two in five innings of work.
Tanner Herdt earned his second save of the season allowing just one hit and pitching the final four outs of the game.
