2016: Team won the RMAC Championship and played in the NCAA South Central Regional...All-Region selection...Went 7-2 as the Mavericks No. 2 starter...Had a 2.61 ERA with 92 strikeouts...Struck out 17 against MSU Denver on March 12.

Previous School: Played for the Coyotes of Chandler Gilbert CC.

High School: Played for Coach Gutierrez and the Tigers of Gilbert High School...Honorable Mention All-American.

Personal: Majoring in Criminal Justice...Son of Bryan and Stephanie Herdt...Has three siblings, Taylor, Chandler and Hunter...Chandler played baseball at Colorado Mesa...Enjoys surfing, ping-pong, and sand volleyball.
