WICHITA, KANSAS – The Colorado Mesa University tennis teams finished a combined 0-4 Friday (March 10) in Wichita, Kan.
The women started the day with a 7-2 loss at Newman.
Kristen Kirby defeated Janneke de Rijk 6-1, 2-6, 10-8 at No. 1 singles. Kristen then earned the win at No. 1 doubles with her sister Katie. The duo defeated de Rijk and Tamar Tskhakaia 8-4.
The women concluded the day with a 9-0 loss to Dallas Baptist.
The men started the day with a 9-0 loss to Newman and dropped a 7-2 decision to Washburn.

Oliver Lindqvist defeated Matt Barlow and Tommy Hunter 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
Oliver Lindqvist also earned the win at No. 5 over Paul Haase 9-8 (8).
Both the men's and women's teams will play at Bethany Saturday (March 11).
