WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS – Midwestern State, ranked No. 3 in the ITA South Central Region, defeated the Colorado Mesa University women's tennis team 9-0 Sunday (March 13).
 
The Mustangs won all three doubles matches, including No. 1 and No. 2 by identical 8-2 scores.
 
Frederikke Karst dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision to Maddie Schorlemmer at No. 1 singles.
 
Greta Lazzarotto defeated Emily Dodson in three sets at No. 2, 3-6, 6-2, 10-7.
 
Colorado Mesa (10-6) will play at St. Edward's Monday (March 14).
