Men's Basketball to Make Home Debut

Colorado Mesa will make its home debut when it hosts MSU-Billings and No. 20 Midwestern State in the Holiday Inn - Airport Thanksgiving Classic Nov. 25-26. 

Series
Colorado Mesa is 0-2 all-time against MSU-Billings falling to the Yellowjackets in Billings in 2001. This will be the first meeting between Colorado Mesa and MSU-Billings. 

Assists
Colorado Mesa dished out a season-high 25 assists against Dine last weekend. The Mavericks followed up with 20 assists against Wayland Baptist. Mesa ranks 18th in Div. II in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.55) and 25th in assists per game (19.0). 

3-Pointers
CJ Davis leads the RMAC and ranks 15th in total 3-pointers with 16 this season. He ranks second in the league and 12th in the nation in 3-point field goals per game (4.0). 

Season and Career Highs
Colorado Mesa had eight players score a season-high and six players scored a career-high for points last weekend against Dine and Wayland Baptist. 

Sharp Shooting
Colorado Mesa shot an astonishing 71-percent (43-60) from the field against Dine last weekend. 71-percent is the best a team has shot from the field in a game in Div. II this season. 

High Scoring
Colorado Mesa scored 120 points against Dine, seventh most by a Div. II school this season. 

Rebounds
Colorado Mesa grabbed 50 rebounds against Dine, the most by a CMU team since it grabbed a school-record 51 against Webber International in 2015. CMU is 1-0 when it out-rebounds its opponent. 

Lead at Half
The Mavericks are 1-0 this season when it leads at half. 

Looking Ahead
Colorado Mesa will play a pair of games next week at Western State (Nov. 29) and at Westminster (Dec. 3).
