ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Colorado Mesa University women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches over the weekend.

Colorado Mesa dropped a 5-2 decision to Tarleton State and fell to Dallas Baptist 6-0.

Emily Dodson and Amy Beeston defeated Gabriella Jansson and Ellie Stevens of Tarleton State at No. 2 doubles 8-5.

Katie Kirby won the other match for the Mavericks with a 6-2, 7-6 (5) win over Ellie Stevens at No. 4 singles.

The match against Dallas Baptist was shortened due to poor weather.

CMU will host MSU Denver March 6^th.
