Senior
Ryan Stephan was named the RMAC Player of the Week for the third time. The Lakewood, Colo., native scored a season-high 36 points in an overtime win at Colorado Mines. He followed up with 24 points at Colorado Christian. Stephan averaged 11 rebounds in the two wins. He passed Kevin Flohr for third place in career scoring at CMU with 1,575 points.
Season-High
Sophomore transfer
CJ Davis scored a season-high 26 points thanks to a career-high seven 3-pointers. His seven 3-pointers obliterated the season-high for 3-pointers by a CMU player this season of three.
Behind the Arc
CMU enjoyed its best night shooting 3-pointers of the season at CCU. The Mavericks set season-highs for most 3-pointers (13) and 3-point field goal percentage (.481). CMU's previous high of 3-pointers in a game was 10 against Texas A&M-Commerce.
Inside the Arc
Colorado Mesa shot over 50-percent for the second time this season at Colorado Christian. Mesa shot a season-high 56.3-percent in the win over Weber International.
Steals
Mesa recorded a season-high 10 steals at Mines. The team's previous high was nine against Dallas Baptist.
Beating the Best
Colorado Mesa's win at No. 24 Colorado Mines was the first for the Mavericks over a top-25 opponent since Jan. 10, 2015 when they defeated UCCS 100-92.
