GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa volleyball team ended the regular season with a 3-0 win over Westminster on Friday evening in Brownson Arena and now will await the results of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches tomorrow night to see where and who they will play.

The first set, Colorado Mesa led 24-19 but allowed the Griffins to get back into the match and cut the lead to 24-22 before a Gabriela Dias kill ended the threat and the set 25-22.

In the second set, Erin Perez moved the Maverick lead from 9-8 to 16-8 with eight straight service points. But, Westminster once again fought their way back into the set and knotted it at 24-24. A pair of Griffin errors sealed their fate and the set 26-24.

In the final set, it was all Colorado Mesa as Caitie Breaux served the first four points of the set and cruised to a 25-16 win.

The Mavericks had four players in double-digit kills on the evening led by senior Caitie Breaux. Breaux finished the night with a match-high 12 kills and 14 digs in her final regular season match in Brownson Arena.
