LIVE STATSComplete Match Notes vs. SD Mines and RegisLAST WEEKENDColorado Mesa earned a weekend sweep of CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands. Against CSU-Pueblo, The Mavericks surrendered an early goal but rallied back for a 2-1 halftime lead that remained the same throughout the second half. Ashley Wallace fed Sarah Pope for the lone goal in the 1-0 win over New Mexico Highlands.Â
WEEKEND'S OPPONENTSThe Mavericks will close out the season with Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference newcomer Westminster. The Griffins defeated Colorado Mesa earlier in the season in the two teams' lone matchup. If the Griffens were postseason eligible, they would have made the RMAC Tournament.
SMART KIDSThe Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its All-Academic Team last week. 14 student-athlete's recognized on the team. Hailie Bergeron, Taylor Bruno, Marie Dreher, Mikayla Ellsworth, Deanna Geraci, Haley Glassy, Chantal Gustine, Lauryn Lee, Baylee Lindsley, Jessie Parra, Kendra Penchoff, Sarah Pope, Ashley Wallace, and Amanda Wenzel were all named to the team.
HAT TRICKBrooklynn Meinke snapped a long streak for the Mavericks on Sunday. She tallied the first hat trick for Colorado Mesa since September 22, 2006 when Lauren Sell scored three goals against CSU-Pueblo at then Bergman Field.
THREE MATCH WIN STREAKColorado Mesa is currently riding a three-match winning streak. The last time that occured for Colorado Mesa was from September 29 to October 6, 2013 when they defeated Regis, Western State Colorado and UCCS.
SENIORSThe Mavericks will say goodbye to nine seniors on Sunday after their final match against Westminster. Mikayla Ellsworth, Jessie Parra, Kendra Penchoff, Sarah Pope, Ashley Wallace, Marie Dreher, Chantal Gustine, Baylee Lindsley, and Janelle Metzger are all in their final season.Â
POPE MOVES UPÂ Senior Sarah Pope is now all alone in fourth place on the all-time assist list with 14 assists. She picked up an assist on Ashley Wallace's game-winning goal in the win over New Mexico Highlands on Sunday.

Jason Clare entering his second season at the helm and third season in the program.Â

RMAC PRESEASON POLLThe Mavericks were picked ninth in the preseason coaches poll after finishing in tenth place last season. Colorado Mesa was picked ahead of Adams State, Colorado Christian and RMAC newcomer Westminster. The top six teams qualify for the RMAC Tournament in November.
VIDEO STREAMINGColorado Mesa and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference have teamed up with Stretch Internet to provide video streaming for all home games this season. Video streaming will also be free this season. Find the link at CMUmavericks.com.
