The Roadrunners won 9-7 at No. 1 singles, but the Mavs took wins at No. 2 and 3.
Katie Kirby and
Michelle Phillips defeated Courtney Wright and Linying Xiao 9-7 at No. 2.
Amy Beeston and
Katie Metz earned an 8-0 shutout at No. 3 over Kaitlyn Miller and Alex Horton.
Metro collected wins at No. 1 and 2 singles, but Mesa took wins at No. 3 through 6.
Emily Dodson defeated Kasey Love 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3, and
Emily Beckley downed Lingying Xiao 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4.
Michelle Phillips won 6-2, 6-0 over Kaitlyn Miller at No. 5, and
Taylor Hershey defeated Alex Horton 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6.
Colorado Mesa will host CSU-Pueblo at 8 am and Colorado College at 3 pm Saturday (Oct. 2).
