GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The top-seeded Colorado Mesa women's tennis team rolled to the RMAC Tournament Final with a 5-0 sweep of Colorado Christian Friday (April 18).
Kaylee Davis and
Rachel McLaughlin won at No. 1 singles 8-6, and
Shannen McNamara and
Kristyn Wykert won at No. 2 doubles 8-1.
Emily Dodson and
Katie Metz completed the doubles sweep with an 8-0 win.
Shannen McNamara defeated Katy Balli, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Kristyn Wykert earned a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
The four remaining singles matches went unfinished.
CMU improves to 11-7 on the year and will face No. 2 seed Western New Mexico in the final of the RMAC Tournament. The match will start at 9 am at the Elliott Tennis Center.
