GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado –
Roy Abergil's goal in the 25
th minute gave the Colorado Mesa men's soccer team their sixth win in a row after a 1-0 win over the UCCS Mountain Lions on Sunday afternoon at Walker Field.
The win also gave the Mavericks their third straight 1-0 victory and kept them in first place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at 7-1-0.
Abergil's goal came on a through pass from Grand Junction native
Tim Hofer. It was Abergil's sixth goal and fifth game-winning goal of the season, putting him amongst the nation's best in the category.

Micah Conrads made three saves in the match but faced 15 shots from the Mountain Lions.
Colorado Mesa will play a midweek game on Wednesday against Colorado Mines in Golden at 7:30pm before facing Colorado Christian in Lakewood on Friday.
