The Colorado Mesa University baseball team opened up a four-game, RMAC series with the Metro State Roadrunners today at Auraria Field in Denver. The Mavericks tallied a run in the ninth to knot the game at 2-2 and then scored a run in the tenth to claim the 3-2 win over the Roadrunners. Colorado Mesa's record improves to 27-6 on the season and 21-2 in the RMAC while Metro State drops to 13-17 and 9-2 in RMAC games.

Jake Kluge in the tenth to put the Mavs up for good.
Kozel finished the game 3-for-5 with an RBI while Robertson finished 2-for-4 with two runs driven in.
Righty
Nolan Snell got the start on the mound for the Mavericks. Snell went 6.1 innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits, walked three and struck out five. He got the no decision and gave way to his bullpen.
Cody Lahman pitched 1.2 innings and allowed just three hits.
Aaron Corwin followed Lahman and nailed down the final two innings. Corwin pitched two innings and allowed just a single and struck out five. Corwin is now 3-2 on the season.
The series continues tomorrow with a doubeheader starting at 12:00pm from Auraria Field on the campus of Metro State University.
