As a Junior (2012): Team reached the NCAA Central Region Tournament…Played in 35 games and made 28 starts…Hit .250 with one double, one triple, and one homerun…Went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored against nationally ranked UC-San Diego on February 10.
At San Joaquin Delta College: Team won the State Championship...Hit .301 with 14 doubles and a triple...Was 11-of-12 on stolen base opportunities.
At Canyon Del Oro High School: All-Sonoran Region selection...Holds record for most hit by pitches in his career.
Personal: Majoring in Kinesiology...Son of Rick and Elaine Kozel...Brother of Rickey...Chose CMU for the baseball program and the proximity to home...Enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking.
