GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's tennis team swept all three doubles matches in a 6-3 win over Dixie State Thursday (Oct. 3).
At No. 1 doubles
Natalie Martin and
Kaylee Davis defeated Joy Naigeon and Stormy Dvorak 8-6.
Rachel McLaughlin and
Emily Dodson posted an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles, and
Shannen McNamara and
Katie Metz also posted an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
Dixie State was victorious at the first three singles positions but Colorado Mesa won the bottom three.
Kaylee Davis won at No. 4,
Emily Dodson at No. 5 and
Katie Kirby at No. 6.
"Today was a good team win," said head coach
Dan MacDonald. "Our depth really showed today."
The women will host Colorado Christian Friday (Oct. 4) at 2 pm.
