Last Week for the Mountaineers: Western State dropped a pair of contests to UC-Colorado Springs and CSU-Pueblo. The Mountaineers dropped a 78-66 decision on Friday night to UC-Colorado Springs. Then on Saturday, they fell 67-43 to CSU-Pueblo in Pueblo, Colo.
RMAC Standings: The Mountaineers currently sit in fifth place in the RMAC, two games behind CMU and three and a half games out of first place. The Top Eight teams advance to the RMAC Tournament in early March.
Mountaineer to Watch: Guard
Terrance Boyd (Jr., Vallejo, Calif.) is leading the Mountaineers in scoring this season at 16.3 a night. Boyd has recorded double-digit points in every game except two this season. He had a season-high 31 points and 12 rebounds against Colorado Christian two weeks ago.
