RMAC All-Conference Teams Release

Colorado Mesa women's tennis team had five players earn Rocky Mountain All-Conference announced by the league office in conjunction with the RMAC Championships in Denver at Gates Tennis Center.
Senior Kelleen Sera and Kaitlan Sera were named RMAC First Team All-Conference singles. Kelleen was a unanimous first team selection as the Mavs number one singles player. Kaitlyn plays number two singles for the Mavericks. The Sera sisters were named RMAC All-Conference First Team Doubles.
Shannen McNamara was named Second Team All-RMAC singles following an outstanding season as the Mavs' number 2/3 singles player. Kaylee Davis earned Third Team All-RMAC singles as the Mavs number four player this season. McNamara and Davis were named Second Team All-RMAC Doubles as CMU's number two doubles team.
Saturday afternoon the Mavericks closed out the regular season playing Metro State for third place at the RMAC Championship Tournament. The Mavs beat the Roadrunners 5-2 to finish third in the post season tournament.
CMU took a 2-0 lead with wins at number 1 and 3 doubles. The Sera's won 8-2 at number one and Kristyn Wykert and Skyler Nelson won 8-1 at number three doubles.
CMU clinched the dual victory with wins at number one singles with Kelleen Sera winning 6-2, 6-2, Shannen McNamara's 6-4, 6-4 win at number three singles and Kaylee Davis' 6-3, 6-2 win at number four singles.
CMU will find out next week if they have earned an NCAA regional bid.
