Mesa State dropped a 9-6 decision against Minnesota Mankato in the final day of the NSIC/RMAC Crossover Tournament in Rochester, MN.

Mankato led 8-1 going in to the bottom of the fourth inning. MSC scored one run in the fourth and three in the sixth to pull to within 8-5 after six complete. Mankato and MSC each scored a run in the seventh giving Mankota the 9-6 victory.

Sara Jordan went 3 for 3 from the plate and hit .615 in the five games. Jordan scored two runs in the loss. Lauren Cross was 3 for 4 with four RBI and one run. Cross hit a home run in the game and tallied four homeruns in the five games.

Danielle Vallie and Gabriella Parra each finished with two hits.

MSC will open RMAC action this weekend at New Mexico Highlands.
