Lance Fite's 22 points and seven rebounds led the Mavericks to an 83-75 RMAC road victory over New Mexico Highlands Friday night in Las Vegas, N.M.

Fite was one of four players to register double digits as the Mavs extend their win streak to three.

Michael Bear finished with 16 points and four rebounds off the bench.

Colton Burgon and Nate Nelson each finished with 14 points and a combined nine rebounds. Nelson was 6 for 6 from the foul line and handed out two assists.

MSC led 35-30 at half behind Bear's first half 10 point output, including 3 for 3 from the field. The Mavs led the entire second half with mainly a single digit lead. Their largest lead of 10 points came with a 1:11 remaining in regulation.

NMHU trailed by six with 2:05 left but he Mavericks sealed the victory at the free throw line hitting 11 of 12 free throws to close out the game.

MSC will travel to Western New Mexico Saturday night for a match-up with the Mustangs.
