Marty Rover led the Mavericks Baseball team to victory on Friday night 13-6. The win puts the Mavericks overall record at 7-8 while the Colorado Christian Cougars fell to 6-14.
Scott Bachman helped the Mavericks with his arm, pitching a complete game. Bachman scattered 12 hits and allowed 3 earned runs (6 total) while striking out 6. The lefty's record is now 2-1.
Marty Rover's bat proved to be mighty last night. Rover finished 4-for-4 with 4 RBI's and his 4th double of the season. The senior left handed hitter is now batting .412 on the season.

Brian Bello hit his 3rd homerun of the season, a shot to rightcenter that went underneath the scoreboard.
The Cougars were led by Chris Guyer who finished 2-for-5 with a homerun.
The two teams will meet in an RMAC doubleheader today starting at 1:00pm.
