The 3rd ranked Mavericks continued their winning ways in a four-game sweep of the Regis Rangers. Mesa State is now on a six-game winning streak and has won twelve of their last thirteen. The offense scored forty-five runs in the series sweep.
In Game one, the Mavs scored seven runs in the fourth inning to cruise to a 12-1 win. 2B
Kevin Becker had four hits including his sixth double of the season.
Mike Provencher added his ninth homerun of the season.
Jason Fronczak pitched his way to the victory, throwing five innings of shutout baseball. With the win, Fronczak is now 5-0.
Game two saw the score tied at 2-2 entering the seventh and final inning of the game. The Mavericks tallied four runs in the top half of the inning.
Aaron Guinn came in to close the door and pick up his third save of the season in the 6-2 win.
Chris Carma pitched six innings to earn his fourth win of the season. Carma allowed five hits, two runs, three walks and struck out five.

Craig Lanzarotta hit his fourth homerun of the season to pace the Maes State offense.
Justin Little set a school record for runs scored in a career with 204. The previous record was held by former Maverick Landon Wareham with 198 runs scored.

Austin Buck notched four hits and SS
Matt Bodenchuk drove in five runs in the 10-2 victory for the Mavericks. Bodenchuk also added his third triple of the season.
In his first start of the season,
Brent Lamaster pitched a complete game allowing eight hits, two runs, walking three, and struck out seven. Lamaster is now 3-0 and is now second on the team in strikeouts.
Game four saw the Regis Rangers score five runs in the seventh and four in the eighth to cut Mesa's lead to 17-13 but
Aaron Guinn came in and stopped the rally to preserve the victory and pick up his fourth save of the season.
Andy Williams picked up his first win of the season, pitching in relief of starter
Chris Shea.

Mike Provencher picked up his RMAC leading tenth homerun of the season.
The Mavericks come back home for a weekend series with RMAC rival CSU - Pueblo. The Thunderwolves are coming off a weekend in which they lost three out of four games with the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys. The series will begin Friday night at 6:30pm at Suplizio FIeld.
