Mesa State women's tennis team defeated Dixie State 7-2 Monday afternoon improving their record to 9-1 overall. The Mavericks won five of the six singles matches and two doubles matches to clinch their fourth consecutive win.

MSC's number two doubles team of Kaitlan and Kelleen Sera came from 5-6 down to defeat Ashley Lafeen and Brittany Rogers 8-6. Number three doubles, Renee Demianew and Mandie Divino won 8-1 over Lauren Tarver and Annie Salmon.

Dixie State's Ashley Lafeen defeated MSC's number one singles player, Kate Lowder 6-4 6-2 for the Red Storm's only singles victory. MSC swept number two through six singles match-ups. MSC allowed just 10 games in 10 sets in singles action.

MSC will host Cameron University this Sunday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m.
