Why I Chose CMU: "When I took a tour of the campus during my sophomore year, I fell in love with CMU. The campus was the right size for me and I felt I can make a name for myself here. The exercise science lab impressed me as it was what I wanted to study. The school's focus on academics was my first priority. I was attracted to the activities that were found on the campus, in Grand Junction and around the area. After visiting several other colleges, I realized that I was comparing all of them to CMU, and they just did not stack up. Once I had met the team and the coaching staff I knew that I had found my university."

Career Aspirations: "Upon graduation I want to coach club volleyball and train athletes. So many of my coaches contributed to who I am today that I cannot ignore their influence and the importance that sports played in my life. It is my goal to help young players find their way into the sport that I love so much. I want to help young players find direction, self-confidence, strength and a sense of purpose through playing a team sport. I also want to find those athletes who a striving for more and help then recognize their full potential on, and off, the court."
