Why I Chose CMU: "Entering high school, one of my goals was always to attend an out-of-state university. As a student athlete, I was fortunate enough to be on several local school's radar. After researching a few out of state schools, I came across CMU and I was instantly attracted by the beauty of Colorado's outdoors. I reached out to coach Fleming, he immediately responded to my email. I was impressed by the level of communication and how easy it was to talk to him. I could not wait to visit CMU and to learn more about the team and the university. During my visit at CMU, I felt at home and the coaching staff and the players welcomed me as if I were already a Mav.  I share the team's philosophy and CMU offers a great biology program. The town and the school have a special charm and I cannot wait to stand out on and off the court as a Maverick."
