2025 (As a Freshman): Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors during a strong freshman season… Played in in 22 of the team’s first 23 matches and 76 total sets… Made 15 starts at the opposite hitter position… Suffered a season-ending injury on Nov. 8, which kept her out of the post-season… Still finished second on the team in kills (208), kills per set (2.74), total points (235) and points per set (3.09)… Hit a .289 attack percentage… Was ranked 15
th in the RMAC for both kills per set and attack percentage… Also tallied 31 blocks (0.41/set), 85 digs (1.12/set) and nine service aces… Reach double figures for kills in 14 different matches… Had a streak of six such matches from Sept. 20 through Oct. 10… Had another stretch of four straight 10+ kill efforts from Oct. 17-Oct. 24, starting that run with a season-high 17 kills against Colorado Christian… Also had a season-high 15 digs in that match to record her lone double-double of the year… Went on to be named as the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 20… Was named to the all-tournament team at the Kathleen Brasfield Invitational on the opening weekend of the season… Hit above .300 on ten separate occasions… Had 12 kills and .526 hitting rates in wins over Cal State LA (Sept. 12) and Western Colorado (Sept. 30).
Prep: 2025 graduate of Park City High School… Earned 4A First Team All-State honors as a senior in the fall of 2024 for the Miners, who finished second in the state tournament… Coached by Matt Carlson… Recorded 271 kills and 54 blocks while hitting above .230 that season… Was a first team all-region and honorable mention all-state pick as a junior in 2023… Was also named as the program’s offensive MVP as a junior in 2023… Was the varsity team’s most improved player as a sophomore… Earned three varsity letters and a pair of spots on the Mountain View All-Tournament Team.
Club: Played for Club V,… Coached by Reed Carlson.
Personal: Is majoring in sports management… Parents are Elizabeth Madsen, Peter and Ramsey Madsen… Has two older siblings— Kaj and Kane… Aspires to continue her volleyball career after college to play professionally and then wants to work with professional sports teams… Enjoys photography, exploring and trying new things and hanging out with friends.
