Career Honors

• RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2021)

Fall 2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 20 matches and 48 total sets… Made seven starts on the right side… Recorded 97 kills and a .279 attack percentage… Also had 23 digs and three blocks… Was in double-figures for kills five times… Recorded a career-high 23 kills while hitting .340 in a 5-set win at CSU-Pueblo on Oct. 23… Also had 13 kills while hitting a season-best .500 in a Nov. 5 win at Chadron State… Had three other 12-kill efforts… Recorded a season-high eight digs in one of those against Westminster on Nov. 9… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

Spring 2021 (Freshman): Had an impressive freshman campaign, playing in 15 of the team’s 16 matches and in 48 total sets… Made five consecutive starts at the right side hitter position from Feb. 12-Mar. 4 after reaching double figures for kills in three consecutive matches off the bench… Extended that double-figure streak to four in her first start on Feb. 12 against Colorado Christian, when she put down 13 kills while hitting a season-best .571… Also had an error-less .538 hitting effort (seven kills) against Westminster on Mar. 17… Had five total 10+ kill efforts, recording a season-high 14 in a Jan. 30 win over Northwest Nazarene… Finished the abbreviated season with 97 total kills, a 2.02 per set average, while hitting .229… Also tallied 24 digs and 14 blocks… Registered a season-high four blocks in the aforementioned win over Northwest Nazarene.

Prep: Was a 4-year varsity starter for the Eaglecrest HS Raptors… Earned first team all-league honors as a junior and senior after picking up honorable mention accolades as a sophomore… Was a 5A Honorable Mention All-State honoree as a senior… Finished her career with more than 700 kills and digs… Was sixth in 5A for kills as a junior for kills with 348… Was second in kills and fourth in digs (340) that year as well leading the team to a final four appearance at the state tournament… Was a first team academic all-state four times as well… Is an AP Scholar.

Club: Plays for the Momentum Volleyball Club and Coach Staci Laufenberg… Helped the team win the 2018 Northern Lights Qualifier.

Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Shannon Vogt… Has two older sisters (Liz, Val)… Enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing spike ball, tennis and traveling.

Career Aspirations: Plans to major in nursing and possibly specialize in surgical nursing.

Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because I felt it was the overall best fit for me. I loved the campus and the beautiful location. CMU offers a strong academic program for nursing that I plan to pursue. I loved the atmosphere within the volleyball program. The team and coaches made me feel so welcome and at home. CMU offers so many opportunities for a great future."
