Career Honors
  • 2x RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll (2023 & 2024)
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2024): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Played in 19 matches and 54 sets as a reserve outside hitter and back-row replacement… Recorded 81 kills (1.50/set), 21 digs (0.39/set) and 13 blocks (0.24/set)… Had a .088 attack percentage… Registered a career-high 14 kills while hitting .226 in an Oct. 11 5-set win over CSU Pueblo… Tallied six kills and a season-high six digs the following afternoon in a win over Adams State… Recorded nine kills against the Colorado School of Mines (Sept. 28)… Also had seven kills in a Sept. 6 win over No. 5 Concordia-St. Paul… Tallied a career-high three blocks on Sept. 21 against Fort Lewis… Made just four reception errors in 110 receptions, good for a .964 reception percentage.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2023): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Played in 16 matches and 31 sets as a reserve outside hitter and serve reception substitute… Recorded 17 kills and 30 digs… Also had three service aces, two blocks and an assist… Saw her first career action on Sept. 16 at Fort Lewis, recording three kills while hitting .429… Had four kills at CSU Pueblo (Oct. 6), playing much of the match… Tallied a season-high 12 digs in two sets in a home win over nationally-ranked Regis (Oct. 14)… Also had four kills against the Rangers in the RMAC Tournament semifinal.

As a Freshman (2022): Redshirt season.

Prep: Named as the 2020 (Spring 2021) and 2021 San Juan Basin Player of the League for the Gina Hollen coached Dolores High School Bears… Set the school-record for aces in a season (57) as a senior in 2021… Named to the Second Team All-State team as a junior.
 
Club: Plays for the Four Corners Volleyball Club and coach Ron Becker.
 
Personal: Plans to major in civil engineering… Aspires to improve the infrastructure on the Western Slope of Colorado… Daughter of Teresa Brown-Sanchez and Bryan Brown… Has three siblings— Will, Beth and Traven.
 
Why I Chose CMU: "Attending CMU has become a family tradition so CMU feels like home. I have been attending the CMU volleyball camp since I was little and I fell in love with the volleyball culture at CMU."
