2023: Was a Second Team All-RMAC selection as the Mavs’ starting right side hitter… Finished with 208 kills (2.36/set) while hitting .311 in 26 matches and 88 total sets… Made 17 official starts, regularly checking in and out for front row duties in tandem with starting defensive specialist Hahni Johnson… Missed three matches due to injury sustained early in the Mavs’ final match of the Oredigger Volleyball Classic, where she earned all-tournament honors… Had a career-high 17 kills while hitting .571 in the Mavs’ win over Findlay during that tournament, one of her 11 matches in double-figures… Had a streak of five straight said matches from Sept. 30 to Oct. 14 during an 8-match CMU winning streak… Capped the regular season, recording 16 kills on a season-best .577 hitting percentage in a Senior Day win over South Dakota Mines… Finished 11th in the RMAC with her season-long hitting percentage... Also recorded 50 total blocks to rank third on the team… Also tallied 34 digs and finished with 237 ½ total points (2.70/set), to rank fourth on the team… Had at least one block in 23 matches, recording a season-high four against Chadron State (Oct. 14).

Before CMU: Joins the CMU program as a sixth-year graduate transfer right side hitter from NCAA Division II Florida Southern.. Tallied 332 kills, 115 blocks and 425.5 total points in 66 career indoor matches with the Mocs from 2019-22 after redshirting in 2018.

Beach VB (2023): Played as part of the Mocs’ Court 1 pair during the 2023 season, her only beach campaign… Helped the team finish ninth at the AVCA Small College National Championships… Played against CMU All-Americans Holly Schmidt Macie Lachemann during that tournament.

As a Redshirt Senior (2022): Played in all 30 of the Mocs’ matches, making 21 starts… Finished with 205 kills, 22 service aces, 77 digs and 69 blocks … Was third on the team, which qualified for the NCAA South Region Tournament, in blocks and kills and fourth in service aces … Had six double-digit kill performances, recording 11 kills on four separate occasions… Had a season-high 13 digs against Montevallo to record her lone double-double of the season (10 kills)… Had a season-high five blocks on four occasions… Had a season-best three service aces versus Lander and Embry-Riddle.

As a Redshirt Junior (2021): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Appeared in all 27 matches, making nine starts… Was fourth on the team for kills (106) and third for total blocks (50)… Tallied a season-high ten kills twice, doing some against Newberry in the Sept. 10 season-opener before matching against Saint Leo a week later… Had six blocks against Eckerd (Sept. 18), one of eight 3+ block efforts.

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2020-21): Recorded 15 kills in nine sets (1.67 kps) over all three of the Mocs’ matches during the brief and COVID-effected season, played in March and April… Also tallied six blocks (0.78/set).

As a Redshirt Freshman (2019): Played in nine sets, over six matches… Had six kills and hit .294… Had three blocks and three digs… Tallied a season-high three kills at Tampa (Oct. 1).

As a Freshman (2018): Redshirt season.

Prep: 2018 graduate of Jupiter Christian School… Played for the Sam Skeleton coached Eagles… Was the team MVP after leading the Eagles to their first regional title since 1990… Also received the program’s coach’s and most committed player awards.

Club: Also played for Skeleton and the Palm Beach Juniors.

Personal: Working on a master’s degree in sport management… Wishes to pursue a career in coaching collegiate volleyball… Daughter of Bill and Ginny Shaddix… Has three siblings— Kaley, Walker and Spencer.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because it felt like home away from home. On my visit, I fell in love with the campus and Grand Junction. The competition at CMU volleyball is high level and I’m excited to compete with the team!”
