Spring 2021 (Junior): Played in 15 matches and 48 sets serving as the team’s starting libero for the first eight matches of the campaign in place of 2-time All-RMAC Kerstin Layman, who was out with injury… Was in double-figures for digs in all but one of those matches, recording a career-high 18 at Westminster on Jan. 30 as she was named as the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 2… Had also recorded 13 digs and ten assists to register a double-double earlier that day against Northwest Nazarene… Also had 18 digs in CMU’s next match, a 3-set win over Colorado Christian (Feb. 12)… Finished the year with 126 total digs to rank fourth on the team… Averaged 2.63 per set… Led the team with 19 service aces (0.40/set), tied for the fifth most in the conference.
2019 (Sophomore): Played in 15 matches and 31 sets… Became a defensive specialist in the second half of the season, making appearances in each of the team’s last 12 matches of the campaign… and Recorded 26 digs, three kills and two digs throughout the season… Had a career-high six digs on Nov. 1 against Fort Lewis… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2018 (Freshman): Played in five sets over five matches as a serving and defensive specialist.
Prep: Earned all-conference honors after her 2016 junior season after being tabbed as an honorable mention all-conference pick as a sophomore in 2015… Earned Academic All-State plaudits in both years… Played for Coach Wendy MacAskill and the Palisade HS Bulldogs… Helped the team win a 4A Academic State title… 4-year starter and 3-year academic letter-winner.
Club: Plays for the Mesa Junior Volleyball Club and Coach Adam Richardson… Helped the team to a spot in the gold bracket in four of five tournaments while placing first in the Grand Junction Friendship Tournament.
Personal: Plans to major in elementary education… Daughter of Shawn and Cristy Tucker… Siblings are Colt and Cameron… Enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, skiing and going to the lake, family activities, especially playing backyard football with family on holidays, reading books and taking photos of nature.
Why I Chose CMU: "When I was in seventh grade, I came to CMU for a volleyball camp during the summer. I really enjoyed all of the players and how much they helped me along with the coaches. I liked the atmosphere the team portrayed to others, how caring, how motivated, and how fun they were to be around. Ever since that camp, I have wanted to play at CMU. Therefore, when they offered me a spot on their team, there was no way I could pass up my dream."
