2019-20: Team won the RMAC Tournament Championship and received a berth into the NCAA Tournament...Played in 26 games and made 11 starts...Averaged 6.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game...Scored a season-high 16 points against Montana Western at the Holiday Inn Thanksgiving Classic...Played a season-high 29 minutes against Colorado School of Mines in Golden.

2018-19: Played in 28 games and averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game during his redshirt sophomore season...Had a season-high 11 points against Marist on December 8.

2017-18: Missed the entire season after suffering an injury during October practice … received a medical redshirt from the NCAA.

2016-17: Played in 28 of 32 games, all in a reserve role … spent the season as the team’s only true freshman … scored a season-high 12 points in Stetson’s home win over Ave Maria … had a season-best six rebounds in loss at UCF … scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds in overtime loss to Radford … scored six points with four rebounds in home win over Florida College … was a key factor in Stetson’s win at SIU Edwardsville with eight points and three rebounds in 15 minutes.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at ThunderRidge High School and coach Joe Ortiz...Earned second-team All-State honors as a senior after averaging 17.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in his only season as a starter…Scored in double figures in all but one game…Saved his best game for last as he finished his career with a 28-point, 13-rebound effort in a playoff loss to Cherry Creek…Had 10 double-digit rebound games…Helped lead the Grizzlies to a 21-4 record and an appearance in the state playoffs…Helped lead the Grizzlies to a runner-up finish in the 2015 5A state tournament…Averaged 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds as a junior.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Finance...Son of Frank and Carol Verk...Has one sibling, Bailey, who plays basketball at Pacific Lutheran...Chose CMU for the chance to get closer to home and the opportunity to allow more friends and family to see games.
