As a Freshman (2024): Redshirt season

Prep: 2024 graduate of Gallatin High School… Coached by Erika Gustavsen… Was the Raptors’ 4-year starting 6-rotation setter… Capped her career with 3,013 assists, the fourth highest total in Montana history at the AA level… Was an all-state selection as a senior… Earned all-conference and academic all-state honors in all four years of her high school career… Was a All-Star Midland Round Table Invitee.

Club: Played for the Empire Volleyball Club… Coached by Levi Taylor… Helped the team place second at the Phoenix Nationals (15s) and third at the Northeast Qualifier (18s).

Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology… Plans on using that knowledge to get a degree in physical or occupational therapy… Daughter of Amy and Chad Swanson… Has a younger sister named Katie… Aside for volleyball, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, going to the lake and being in the sun… Also likes to travel and hang out with my friends.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I loved the high level of play and the team culture at my visit! The coaches and team made me feel welcome the moment I stepped in the gym! I also loved the campus itself, along with the opportunities it held for me with my kinesiology major. The location of the school was also perfect for me, as it is relatively close to my family.”
