• 3x RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll

2026 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Ran in four meets, contesting the 400 meters at all four and the 200 meters at three… Set a season-best 400 time of 59.80 seconds at the Maverick Early Bird Open, which qualified her for the RMAC Championships… Finished 16^th at the conference meet in 1:00.24… Had a season-best 200 time of 26.77 at the Chuck Haering Classic Invitational… Also Ran on the Mavs’ second place 4x400-meter relay team at the High Desert Dental Maverick Invitational.

2025-26 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman): Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Ran in three meets, contesting the 200, 400 and 800 meters… Had a season-best in each meet… Opened with a time of 2:42.54 in her lone 800-meter attempt at the Big Red Machine Open… Had a time of 1:01.44 in the 400 at the Colorado Classic… Finished the 200 in 27.74 at the Last Chance RMAC Qualifier.

2024-25 (Freshman): Redshirted during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Bakersfield High School… Coached by Jose Orozco… Served as the Drillers’ team captain for cross country from 2021-23 and for track and field from 2023-24… Earned the track & field team’s most dedicated award in 2023 and 2024 and was an all-area pick as a junior in 2023… Won the 400-meter title at the South Yosemite Valley League Championships with a PR time of 59.95 while taking third in the 800… Had a season-best 800 time of 2:19.87 to place fourth at the APU Meet of Champions… Set a PR of 2:17.07 to take second at the CIF Central Section Masters Championships as a junior… Took tenth at the SYVL Cross Country Championships in the fall while also qualifying for the CIF Central Section and State Championships… Was the Drillers’ most inspirational runner in 2023 and the team MVP in 2022 and 2023.

Personal: Is majoring in nursing and aspires to work in the medical field… Daughter of Hilary and Stephen Varner.
