2025 Outdoor (Sophomore): Ran in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the 800 meters in each… Also ran on the Mavs’ top 4x400 relay team at two… Set a career-best time of 1:54.00 in the 800 at the conference meet, placing 12
th… Ranks seventh in program history with that time… Also helped the Mavs place ninth in the relay at the conference meet with a time of 3:20.13, the Mavs’ fastest of the season… Named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
2024-25 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Took eighth in the 800 at the conference meet with a time of 1:56.77… Had a season-best time of 1:54.53 at the Colorado Invitational… Ranks fourth in program history with that time… Was 15
th on the RMAC’s season-long performers list with the altitude-adjusted time of 1:53.79… Also ran on the Mavs’ relay teams at the RMAC Championships… Helped them place fifth in the 4x400 with a time of 3:21.70, eighth fastest in program history… Ran the second leg on the distance medley relay team that placed tenth in 10:53.60, 11
th fastest in program history… Had helped the Mavs set a school-record time of 10:11.53 to place second at the Ichabod Invitational… Ran the 400 meters in 51.64 seconds at the ASU Qualifier #2… Won both the 800 and the 4x400 at the Mountaineer Open to start the season… Was on the 4x400-meter relay team that posted the No. 7 ranking time in program history (3:21.64) at the Colorado Invitational… Named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
2024 Outdoor (Freshman): Ran in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Raced the 800 meters three times… Set a season-best time of 1:55.46 at the conference meet, finishing 15
th… Ranks ninth in CMU history with that time… Ran the 400 meters at the Maverick Invite & Multi, posting a time of 50.90 seconds… Also ran on the Mavs’ 4x400-meter relay team at that meet, helping the Mavs take second in 3:22.02.
2023-24 Indoor (Freshman): Ran in five meets, contesting the 800 meters at each… Finished ninth at the RMAC Championships with a season-best time of 1:57.06… Ranks seventh in program history with that time… Also helped the Mavericks take the silver medal to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 4x400-meter relay… Anchored the team to a time of 3:22.99, 11th fastest in school history.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Coal Ridge High School… Was a 4-time state medalist for the Titans and Coach Benjamin Kirk during his senior season… Named as the Western Slope League Athlete of the Year… Finished fifth in the 800 and ninth in the 400 at the 3A State Championships while helping the Titans place third in the 4x400 and ninth in the 4x800 meter relays as well… Set a PR time of 50.22 in the 400 to win the league title… Also took second in the 800 before running to a PR time of 1:56.44 a week later… Won the league title in the 800 as a junior in 2022 while taking fourth in the 400.
Personal: Is majoring in engineering… Wants to become a civil engineer and make an impact in developing communities… Son of LeAnn and Cole Campbell… Enjoys climbing mountains, traveling and playing guitar.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU so I could be close to the outdoors and open space. I also chose CMU because I would be able to run on the track team.”
