Added to the 2025 cross country roster after two years a standout middle distance runner on the Mavs' track & field team.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Coal Ridge High School… Was a 4-time state medalist for the Titans and Coach Benjamin Kirk during his senior season… Named as the Western Slope League Athlete of the Year… Finished fifth in the 800 and ninth in the 400 at the 3A State Championships while helping the Titans place third in the 4x400 and ninth in the 4x800 meter relays as well… Set a PR time of 50.22 in the 400 to win the league title… Also took second in the 800 before running to a PR time of 1:56.44 a week later… Won the league title in the 800 as a junior in 2022 while taking fourth in the 400.
Personal: Is majoring in engineering… Wants to become a civil engineer and make an impact in developing communities… Son of LeAnn and Cole Campbell… Enjoys climbing mountains, traveling and playing guitar.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU so I could be close to the outdoors and open space. I also chose CMU because I would be able to run on the track team.”
