As a Junior (2024): Played in all 17 games… Recorded nine goals and seven assists to finish with 16 points… Took 44 shots, including 20 on goal… Had 11 groundballs and three caused turnovers… Scored his goals in nine different games… Had a season-high three points with a goal and two assists on Mar. 30 against Adams State.

As a Sophomore (2023): Played in 15 games… Scored eight goals while assisting on three… Tallied a hat-trick and 4-point (3G, 1A) game on Feb. 23 at Lees-McRae… Also had two goals in the RMAC Tournament semifinal victory over Adams State on May 4… Took 21 shots throughout the season, placing 17 on goal… Also tallied eight groundballs, three of which came in the aforementioned RMAC Tournament game against the Grizzlies.

As a Freshman (2022): Played in 13 games, making one start… Scored eight goals while registering five assists and 13 total points… Scored four goals in a Mar. 5 win at Adams State… Also had an assist and a career-high five points that game… Had a 3-point (2G, 1A) game on Mar. 25 at Flagler… Took 16 shots throughout the season, 12 of which were on goal… Had five ground balls and one caused turnover.

Prep: 2021 graduate of Glenda Dawson High School, where he played for the Eagles and Coach Mike Staub… Earned first team all-state honors and won a state championship... Was a 3-time all-district selection as well.
 
Personal: Is majoring in business administration… Is unsure of career plans, but wants to make a positive impact on the world... Son of Jennifer and Chad Points… Has two younger brothers— Carson and Keaton…Carson is a newcomer to the Maverick team in 2023-24.
 
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I’ve always had dreams of living Colorado and playing college lacrosse. When I got the opportunity to do both of those things I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Along with this, the beautiful part of the country that CMU is located and the beautiful people that attend CMU really sold the deal for me."
