2023 (Junior): Played in all 18 games, making one official start… Scored ten goals while tallying 15 assists… Took 38 shots, 25 of which were on goal… Had 17 ground balls and four caused turnovers… Netted a hat-trick on Mar. 20 against Tampa, which ended up being his final goals… Did have eight assists in the second half of the season… Had a trio of 3-point games.

2022 (Sophomore): Earned a share of RMAC Co-Midfielder of the Year honors with two teammates (Trent Pernell, James Steinke) and Adams State’s Jacob Austin… Was a First Team All-RMAC pick… Played in 18 games, making two starts… Scored 12 goals while recording 14 assists, fourth most on the team… Was tied for sixth in the RMAC for assists and ninth in the RMAC for assists per game (0.78)… Was credited with the game-winner against Flagler (Mar. 25)… Took 46 shots, including 28 on goal, throughout the season… Scooped up 13 ground balls while recording two caused turnovers.

2021 (Freshman): First Team All-RMAC midfielder… Played in all 11 games, making one start (Apr. 2 at Westminster)… Had one of his four 2-goal efforts in that game against the Griffins… Finished the year with 11 goals and a team-leading 16 assists, good for 27 offensive points… Was ranked second in the RMAC for assists and third for assists per game (1.45)… That average was also the fourth highest in Maverick history… Was tied for seventh in the RMAC for points per game (2.45)…  Matched a school-record by recording five assists in Apr. 30 title clinching win over Westminster… Also had two goals and seven points in that game to earn RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors on May 3… Had 2-goal, 2-assist, 4-point outings at Mount Olive (Mar. 10) and at Westminster (Apr. 2)… Finished the year with 38 shots, 20 of which were on goal… Also had four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Prep: 2020 graduate of Lake Stevens High School... Was a multiple-sport standout for the Vikings... Earned First Team All-WESCO honors in lacrosse and as a receiver in footballl... Also helped the Vikings with the state title in the 4x100-meter relay with a school-record time in track and field.

Personal: Is majoring in construction management... Son of Patty Pelayo... Has a brother named Sylas... Would like to have my own construction company and invest in real estate... I love to snowboard, fish, and hunt. Spending time out away from the city is just relaxing.

Why I Chose CMU: "The culture between the coaches and players was special and unlike anything I’d ever been apart of. CMU is surrounded by the Mesa and the Colorado National Monument and the scenery is gorgeous!"
