2025 (As a Sophomore): Played in three games… Had one ground ball and one caused turnover on Feb. 17 against Dominican.

2024 (As a Freshman): Played in six games… Recorded seven ground balls and two caused turnovers… Had a season-high three ground balls against CSU Pueblo (Mar. 28) before recording two in the Mavs’ next game against Adams State on Mar. 30.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Lutheran High School, where he earned a variety of awards for the Lions… Coached by Tyler Snyder… Was a First Team CHSAA All-State Defender as a senior in 2023… Was second in the state (all classifications) for long pole goals in 2022, earning the team’s MVP honor… Was the team’s defensive MVP in 2023… Earned first team all-conference honors at the long stick midfielder position in 2021… Helped lead the Lions to the state playoffs in all three prep seasons after his 2020 freshman season was canceled… Earned CHSAA Academic All-State Honorable Mention honors in 2023… Was a 3-time academic all-conference pick (2021-23).

Personal: Is majoring in construction management… Would like to own his own contracting company, providing HVCA, plumbing and electrical services… Son of Mike and Nancy Bensinger… Enjoys fishing, going to concerts, working on cars and watching TV shows with my friends.
