2024 (As a Freshman): Played in six games after joining the team for the spring semester… Scored eight goals while recording four assists to finish the campaign with 12 points… Recorded a hat trick (3 goals) on Apr. 21 at CSU Pueblo… Had two goals in his collegiate debut at home against the ThunderWolves on Mar. 28… Also scored twice two days later against Adams State… Tallied two assists against the Grizzlies in the RMAC Tournament semifinal (Apr. 26)… Finished the season with 19 shots, including ten on goal… Had four groundballs and two caused turnovers.

Before CMU: Joined the Maverick program in January, 2024 after attending Queens University of Charlotte in the fall of 2023.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Fossil Ridge High School… Earned All-Front Range League honors three times (2021-23) while playing for the Will Cantwell coached Saber Cats… Earned all-state honors in both 2022 and 2023 after recording 57 (2022) and 65-point (2023) seasons.

Personal: Is majoring in biology and pre-medicine… Aspires to become an anesthesiologist… Son of Brian and Lindsey Chastain… Has a twin brother Luke who is also on the Maverick squad… Barrett is his other sibling… Enjoys skiing, wake surfing and lifting.
