Career: Will enter his senior season with 98 career goals, just two shy of becoming the sixth Maverick to reach the 100 mark… Ranks tenth in program history with 110 total points and fifth for shots attempted (303).

2024 (As a Junior): Earned Honorable Mention all-America honors from both the USILA (United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association) and the USA Lacrosse Magazine… Also earned USILA Honorable Mention All-South Region honors… Was a First Team All-RMAC selection at attack, his third overall all-conference recognition… Was named to the RMAC All-Tournament Team for the second time in his career after scoring five goals in the Mavs’ two games… Scored four goals in the championship game win over CUI… Led the RMAC with 54 total goals while ranking second for goals per game (3.18)… Was ranked 14th in the national statistics for scoring… His goal total is the third best in program history… Scored in all 17 games, 16 of which he started… Led the team and the RMAC with five game-winning goals… Recorded a hat trick in ten different games, scoring five or more goals in five of them… Had a career-high eight goals in the Feb. 23 season-opener against Dominican, equal to the second highest single-game total in program history… Also had five against CUI on Feb. 25 to help win the first RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honor on Feb. 28… Was second on the team with five man-up goals… Took a RMAC-leading 165 shots, tied for second most in program history… Was ranked atop the RMAC with his 9.71 per game average… Took a single-game school record 20 in the Feb. 25 win against CUI… Also recorded eight assists to finish with 62 offensive points, the seventh best total in program history… Was ranked third in the RMAC with that total and his 3.65 per game average… Had a career-high nine points against Dominican, tied for third most in program history… Finished the season with 20 ground balls and seven caused turnovers… Had a career-high four groundballs on Mar. 19 at Florida Southern (Mar. 19).

2023 (As a Sophomore): Played in 18 games, making three starts… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors at the midifielder position after scoring 25 goals and 31 offensive points (6 assists)… Was tied for fourth on the team in goal-scoring and tied for sixth on the RMAC title-winning squad for points… Registered three hat-tricks, scoring a career-high four, including the game-winner at Mount Olive (Feb. 28)… Also credited with the game-winner in CMU’s next game at Rockhurst on Mar. 3… Had 3-goal games in home wins over Westminster (Apr. 1) and CSU Pueblo (Apr. 28) during RMAC play… Also had an assist while taking a career-high ten shots in the aforementioned win over CSU Pueblo… Finished the year with 78 total shots, 39 of which were on goal… Also recorded eight groundballs.

2022 (As a Freshman): Earned Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors after scoring 19 goals while recording four assists during an impressive freshman campaign… Had five multiple-goal games, including three hat-tricks… Scored five goals during the RMAC Tournament to claim a spot on the All-Tournament Team… Recorded a hat-trick in the 16-10 title-game victory over Westminster after scoring two against CSU Pueblo in the semifinal… Also had hat-tricks in wins over Coker (Feb. 14) and CSU Pueblo (Apr. 9) during the regular season… Credited with the game-winning goal in that win over CSU Pueblo… Had a 5-point (2G, 3A) contest against Flagler (Mar. 25)… Took 60 shots throughout the season, putting 39 on net… Had 12 ground balls and two caused turnovers defensively… Played in all but one (17) of the Mavs’ games.

Prep: 2021 graduate of Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland…. Was the starting FOGO for Coach John Nostrant and the Greyhounds.

Personal: Is majoring in finance… Son of Barb and Rodger Brummett… Has two older brothers in Jake and Jed, who he played alongside last year… Jed is also on the team this year... Is not sure of his exact career plans, but would like to do something in the financial realm and obtaining a real estate license... Enjoys taking pictures with his camera.
 
Why I Chose CMU: “The location is a lot different than I am used to, Being from a more flat and wet area, it is a great change in scenery. I also wanted to play lacrosse with my brother, Jed, for two years.
