Career Synopsis: Capped his career ranked third in program history for career goals (123)… Graduated as the program leader in goals per game (2.62)… Also finished his career ranked seventh in career points (137).
2023 (Redshirt Junior): Scored a CMU single-season record 63 goals, tallying at least one in all 18 games… Recorded 14 hat-tricks throughout the season, including in each of the team’s first eight games… Led the RMAC in goals and goals per game (3.50), ranking eighth in the national statistics for his per game average… Was also second in the RMAC behind teammate AJ Switzer for points (68) and points per game (3.78) after tallying five assists… Took a RMAC-leading 125 shots, while putting 84 of them on net, to rank first in the conference and eighth nationally in shot percentage (.504)… Named to the First Team All-RMAC squad for the third consecutive year… Was named as the MVP of the RMAC Tournament after scoring nine goals and 11 points in the Mavs’ two victories… Made CMU history alongside teammate Dylan Checketts by becoming a First Team College Sports Communicators Academic All-American for Men’s At-Large Sports as one of the top student-athletes around the country… He and Checketts are the only two first team honorees in program history… Was also an Academic All-District pick for the second straight season… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team for the third consecutive year… Named as the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week on three occasions (Mar. 1, Mar. 13, Mar. 20)… Matched a career-high by scoring six goals in a Feb. 23 win over Lees-McRae…. Matched a career-high by taking 12 shots, five of which found the back of the net, just two days later on Feb. 25 against Belmont Abbey, one of his four 5-goal games… Had four man-up goals… Credited with the game-winning goal twice… Also had 14 groundballs and two caused turnovers.
2022 (Redshirt Sophomore): Shared RMAC Attacker of the Year honors with teammate Hunter Holcomb and Westminster’s Easton Albert… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors at attack for the second consecutive year… Named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team for the second straight year… Was recognized as a USILA Scholar All-American… Scored 23 goals to rank fifth in the conference… Was ranked tenth with his 1.53 per game average… Played in 15 games, making six starts… Had three hat-tricks, including a 4-goal game against CSU Pueblo (Apr. 9)… Had 3-goal efforts in wins at Rockhurst (Apr. 16) and at home against Adams State (Apr. 24)… Finished the year with five assists and 28 points… Had five points in the aforementioned win over CSU Pueblo… Had four points against CSU Pueblo in the RMAC Tournament semifinal win on May 6… Took 83 shots and ranked seventh in the RMAC for shots per game (5.53)… Had 47 shots on goal… Was credited with two game-winning goals… Scored a man-up tally on Apr. 16 at Rockhurst… Finished the year with ten groundballs… Caused three turnovers.
2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Named to the First Team All-RMAC squad at attack… Also shined in the classroom becoming just the second Maverick (Christian Cherry) to ever be named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 team for men’s at-large sports… Also selected to the RMAC All-Academic First Team… Scored a team-high 19 goals in just seven games to lead the conference in goals per game (2.71)… That average is the third best in program-history… Was third in the conference for total goals… Missed four other mid-season games due to injury… Made four starts… Had a pair of 5-goal efforts, turning in the first at Shorter (Mar. 12) before doing the same on Apr. 30 in a RMAC regular season-title clinching win over Westminster… Scored multiple goals in six of his seven outings… Finished with 52 shots, including 27 on goal… Took a season-high 11 against Westminster (Apr. 30)… Led the Mavs with four man-up goals… Had one ground ball and one assist while finishing with 20 offensive points.
2020 (Freshman): Led the RMAC and the team with 18 goals during the COVID shortened campaign… Also had three assists while finishing third on the team and fourth in the RMAC with 21 total points… Ranked second in the RMAC for goals per game (2.57) and eighth for points per game (3.00)… Registered three hat-tricks, scoring four goals in his collegiate debut against Embry-Riddle (Feb. 6)… Also had three goals and an assist against CSU-Pueblo (Feb. 23) before tallying a career-high six goals in what would end up being the season-finale against Rockhurst (Mar. 8)… Played in all seven of CMU’s games… Made five starts… Took 42 shots, including 28 of which were on frame… Recorded six ground balls, including three against Adams State (Feb. 21).
Prep: 2019 graduate of The Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland… Played for Coach Brooks Matthews and the Greyhounds.
Personal: Is majoring in computer information systems…Is working towards being an offensive cybersecurity analyst for the National Security Agency... Son of Rodger and Barb… Has two siblings— Jake and JJ, who both played for the Mavericks in 2022... JJ is a sophomore on the 2023 team as well.
