Prep: 2025 graduate of Stillwater Area High School… Played for coach Peter Flock and the Ponies… Was an All-Suburban Eastern Conference pick as a junior and senior after earning honorable mention accolades as a sophomore… Was  first team all-section and second team all-state pick as a senior… Earned second team all-section honors as a junior in 2024.

Personal: Is majoring in business… Wants to either take over his dad’s hardwood flooring business or become a sales representative… Son of Emily and Mike Mellgren… Has an older brother named Ethan and a younger sister— Abby… Loves playing lacrosse, golfing, climbing and going fishing and hunting… Also loves to go out on the lake or river when back at home in Minnesota.

Why I Chose CMU: “I visited here for lacrosse and loved it so as soon as I got my offer I accepted it and committed here.”
