2025 Summer: Helped his native Australia win the bronze medal at the U20 World Lacrosse Championships.
2025 (As a Sophomore): Played in 15 games, making four starts… Scored 18 goals while recording 21 points (3 assists)… Took 54 shots, 37 of which were on goal… Finished with 15 ground balls and three caused turnovers… Scored a career-high five goals while registering two of his assists in a 7-point game against Adams State (Apr. 3)… Also had four goals against the Grizzlies and Dominican in back-to-back games on Apr. 9 and 12… Also had four ground balls in the Apr. 9 win over Adams State… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2024 (As a Freshman): Played in seven games… Scored seven goals while assisting on another to finish his debut campaign with eight points… Took 18 shots, 11 of which were on goal… Had four ground balls… Scored two goals in the season-opener at Dominican (Feb. 23) and again in the RMAC Tournament semifinal over Adams State (Apr. 26)… Also had an assist in that tournament game.
Prep: Graduated from Christ Church Grammar School... Played for the Wembley Lacrosse Club.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Aspires to become the Head of Performance at a professional sports team… Son of Sara and David Cooper… Has three younger siblings— Jessie, Issie and Abby… Enjoys playing golf, surfing.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the outdoor lifestyle it offers as well as success the team has had on the field. All coaches made me feel wanted and welcomed at the school so I thought it was a great place for me.”
