Career Synopsis: Completed his legendary career as the program leader for assists with 93… Also set the CMU single-season and single-game records as a senior… Earned four First Team All-RMAC honors… Finished fifth in CMU history for career points (172).
2024 (Senior): Earned First Team All-RMAC honors for the fourth straight year… Led the RMAC in assists with 38 while ranking second for total points (65)… Set the CMU record for assists in a season… Also led the RMAC while ranking 14th nationally in assists per game (2.24)... Was second in the RMAC and amongst the nation’s top 50 in points per game (3.82)… Scored 27 goals to rank second on the team… Had one man-up and two game-winning goals… Took 71 shots, 40 of which were on goal… Scooped up 25 groundballs and caused six turnovers… Played in all 17 games… Recorded five hat tricks… Scored a season-high four goals in the Mar. 24 win over Westminster… Had a pair of 7-point games, recording three goals and four assists against both Dominican (Feb. 23) and CUI (Apr. 5)… Set the program-record for single-game assists, recording six in the RMAC Tournament Semifinal win over Adams State... Was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for Men's At-Large Sports... Also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2023 (Junior): Named as a First Team All-RMAC attacker for the third consecutive season… Tallied 20 goals and 35 total points (15 assists)… Took 82 shots, 43 of which were on goal… Played in all 18 games, making 17 starts… Also had 22 ground balls and four caused turnovers… Tallied a pair of hat-tricks, scoring four goals in a Mar. 4 win over Quincy… Had three goals in an Apr. 16 win over CSU Pueblo, including the game-winning goal… Had three other 2-goal games… Had a season-high five points (2G, 3A) on Apr. 1 against Westminster, one of his nine multiple-point games… Took a season-high eight shots on Apr. 28 against CSU Pueblo… Reached the 100 career point mark on Apr. 23 against Westminster… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2022 (Sophomore): Shared RMAC Co-Attacker of the Year honors with teammate Jed Brummett and Westminster’s Easton Albert… Was a First Team All-RMAC attack for the second straight year… Also named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team… Was second on the team and tied for third in the RMAC with 26 assists... Ranked fourth in the RMAC with his 1.44 per game average… Also scored 14 goals to finish with 40 points, sixth most in the conference… Was ranked tenth in points per game (2.22)… Had a season-high four goals and five points in a Mar. 5 win over Adams State… Tallied four assists in the RMAC Tournament Championship win against Westminster (May 7)… Had at least three points in each of his first five games of the season… Finished the campaign with 78 total shots, 40 of which were on goal… Tallied two man-up goals… Also finished with 27 ground balls and five caused turnovers… Scooped up six ground balls on Mar. 23 against Florida Tech... Was named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team.
2021 (Freshman): Named as the RMAC Attacker of the Year and to the First Team All-RMAC squad… Also selected to the RMAC All-Tournament Team… Played in 11 games, making five starts at attack… Finished with 18 goals, 14 assists and 32 points as one of the conference’s top players… Was third in the RMAC for total points and fourth for points per game (2.91)… Also ranked fourth (tie) in the conference for goals and sixth for goals per game (1.64)… Was tied for fifth in assists and tied for sixth in assists per game (1.27)… Recorded a pair of hat-tricks, scoring a career-high five goals in an Apr. 9 win at Adams State… Also scored four in a home win over the Grizzlies (Apr. 25)… Tallied five points in both of those contests… Scored in ten different games while recording an offensive point in all 11 of his outings… Had a season-high three assists on Mar. 12 at Shorter… Finished the year with 49 shots, 30 of which were on goal… Took a season-high 11 at Alabama-Huntsville… Finished the year with 14 ground balls, scooping up a season-high four against Shorter… Had two goals and six combined offensive points in the two RMAC Tournament games.
Prep: Was a 2-time all-conference and 2-time all-section player for the Chanhassen High School Storm… 2020 graduate of the school… Served as the team captain in 2018-19 and 2019-20… Coached by Jon Junker and Scott Hugdahl.
Club: Played for 36 Lacrosse, coached by Ted Sperides.
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice… Wants to go into the forensics field… Son of Kristi and Greg Holcomb.
Why I Chose CMU: “On my visit I really liked all the guys. CMU also offers a great criminal justice program. I also like to hike and really enjoy the mountains around campus.”
