2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Was a First Team All-RMAC selection at the face-off position... Named as the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Apr. 12 and Apr. 26, the third and fourth honors of his career… Played in ten games… Was credited with four starts… Was 74-104 on face-offs throughout the season, good for a .712 winning percentage, third highest in program-history… Was second in the RMAC behind only teammate Dylan Checketts in both face-off categories… Was also second in the RMAC behind Checketts with 47 ground balls, the ninth highest single-season total in Maverick history… Had a season-high nine in an Apr. 9 win at Adams State… Was 17-for-21 at the “X” in the season-opening game at Mount Olive (Mar. 10)… Scored two of his four goals in Apr. 11 win at CSU-Pueblo… Also had his lone assist of the year against the ThunderWolves while going 8-for-9 on face-offs helping him earn the first RMAC Player of the Week ward… Had also gone a perfect 7-for-7 in the aforementioned win at Adams State… Was 13-for-16 with eight ground balls in a later Apr. 25 win over Adams State to help earn the second RMAC Player of the Week accolade… Took eight shots, including six on goal throughout the year.

2020 (Freshman): Was ranked sixth in Division II with his .759 (101-133) face-off percentage… Was ranked seventh nationally in ground balls per game (9.57) after tallying 67 in seven games during the COVID-19 shortened and undefeated season… Led the RMAC in both categories, tallying nearly twice as many ground balls than any other RMAC player (teammate Colin Seedorf, 34)… Had 19 ground balls while winning 24 battles at the “X” (27 attempts) against St. Leo (Feb. 8)… Went a combined 36-for-38 on face-offs with 27 combined ground balls in conference wins over Adams State and CSU-Pueblo on Was named as the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 10 and 24… Received a Rumble Award as CMU’s Spring Sport Freshman of the Year (all sports)… Scored four goals while tallying six points (2 assists) in seven games… Took 11 shots, nine of which were on goal.

Prep: Played just one year of varsity lacrosse with the Denver East HS Angels, coached by Sean Mccarthy… Earned second team all-conference honors as a junior in 2018… Was also a Maverick All-American… Went on to play varsity soccer as a goal keeper.

Personal: Is majoring in physics… Has two brothers— Ryan and Quinn… Wants to obtain a doctorate degree in astrophysics and become a college professor or researcher…  Enjoys rock climbing and playing chess, guitar and piano… Once beat Chess expert William Strong.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose Colorado Mesa because of the outdoor and rock climbing opportunities and the physics department.”
