Erin Perez joined the Colorado Mesa athletic administration in the summer of 2020 and now serves as the Coordinator for Marketing and Fan Engagement. She came to the Mavericks as a graduate assistant for sports information prior to her current role.

As a graduate assistant, Perez was the primary contact for six of the Mavericks athletic programs. She provided weekly previews, created content and compiled statistics for those programs.

Prior to her time at Colorado Mesa, she spent two years as the Assistant Athletic Director of Media Relations at Western New Mexico University. There she served as the SAAC Advisor and oversaw the game management staff along with compiling stats for 11 Division II programs.

After graduating from Colorado Mesa in the fall of 2016, she served as an intern at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference doing internal operations and championships. There, she managed the conference’s game tape exchange, managed the conference officials through Arbiter and reviewed the National Letter of Intent program.

She has also served in several volunteer roles at various athletic events including the 2021 NCAA Division II Soccer National Championships, the NJCAA Junior College World Series, and the Sun Bowl.
