2022-23: Team won a co-RMAC regular season championship and was the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament... Appeared in 31 games, starting eight... Averaged 7.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19 minutes per game... Finished with 21 assists, 18 steals and 11 blocks... Season-high 19 points against CSU Pueblo on Feb. 18, shooting 7-for-9 from the field and 4-for-5 from three... 11 games in double figures... Season-high nine rebounds against Texas A&M Int'l on Nov. 19... Career-high three blocks against Adams State on Dec. 17.

2021-22: Team reached NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the first time in program history... Appeared in 13 games, started once against at DBU on November 12... Averaged 10 points, 3.3 rebounds, one assist and one steal per game... Shot 14-of-32 from three-point range for a team-high .438 percentage... Recorded a double-double in his CMU debut, scoring 12 points and grabbing a career-high 10 rebounds against West Texas A&M on October 29... Career-high 20 points vs. Simon Fraser on November 27, shooting 8-of-9 from the field and 4-of-5 from three.

Previous School (CU Boulder): Appeared in two games, playing in the final minute of home wins over Omaha (Dec.16) and California (Jan.14). Grabbed a rebound in the Omaha contest. Joined the Buffaloes as a walk-on prior to the 2020-21 season.

High School: A 2020 graduate of Centaurus High School. A two-time Class 4A All-State Second Team selection and all-conference pick. Averaged 19.2 points and 6.7 rebounds as a senior while shooting 56 percent from the field. Named the Boulder County (BOCO) Player of the Year in 2018-19, averaging 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game as the Warriors reached the “Great 8” of the state tournament. Lettered four times in track, recording multiple state finishes in the high jump. Played for the Colorado Titans club program in Erie.

Personal: Son of Nathan and Kacey Koonce. Has one sister, Kelsey.
