Eli Scott

Eli Scott joined the CMU Men’s Basketball Team prior to the start of 2025-26 school year as an Assistant Coach. He comes to CMU after playing professional basketball for one year overseas and a defined career at Loyola Martmount University.
While in his time at Loyola Marymount, Scott played under Head Coach Dunlap for three seasons before the two would reunite this year to coach together.

In five years, Scott finished as a program great for the Lions with him totaling 2,002 points, sixth best in school history. In addition he was also a selection to the WCC All-Freshman Team, while being named All-WCC three times, including a First Team nod in his Senior season.

Scott recorded the first triple-double in program history as well with him totaling 21 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists in a 83-67 win over Grambling State.

Following his collegiate career, Scott signed with Kouvot of the Korisliiga, a Finnish professional basketball league, before also playing with MBK Handlova of the Slovak Basketball League.

In his prep career, Scott is also known for being on the 2016 Chino Hills High School Basketball Team which won the CIF Open Division State Title and going 35-0. As a junior, Scott started alongside Lonzo Ball, LaMelo Ball, LiAngelo Ball and Onyeka Okongwu with three of those players now being in the NBA.
