Charles Negus was hired prior to the start of the 2024-25 school year as an Assistant Basketball Coach. He comes to CMU after being an Assistant Basketball Coach at Sierra College the last two years.
In his career, Negus coached at Sierra College for the 2022-2024 seasons. Prior to Sierra College, Negus served as the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations at Sacramento State University in 2021-22. He would be a Graduate Assistant at Sacramento State from 2018-21. Before returning to Sierra College in 2022, Negus previously was at Sierra College in 2014-2018 as an Assistant Coach and Video Coordinator.
