2023: All-RMAC Honorable Mention...NFF Academic All-Colorado Honorable Mention...Played in all 11 games and made 10 starts...Finished the season with 63 total tackles and an interception...His interception came in the final game of the season against New Mexico Highlands on November 11...Had a season-high 13 total tackles against nationally ranked Colorado School of Mines on October 7...Had five tackles, a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery against Black Hills State on September 23.

2022: All-RMAC Second Team...RMAC Academic Honor Roll...Finished the season with 63 total tackles, two fumble recoveries and two pass break-ups...Had a season-high 13 tackles against Chadron State on November 5...Had a 10 tackle effort against Western Colorado on October 1...Both pass break-ups came against South Dakota Mines on September 17.

2021: National Football Foundation All-Colorado Academic Honorable Mention...Finished the season with 11 tackles and one interception...Interception came against New Mexico Highlands on September 18, his first of his career...Had back-to-back games where he recorded a pass break-up against Adams State and Fort Lewis.

2020: Played in all three games during the COVID shortened season...Recorded a tackle in each of the three games he played in. 

2019: Redshirt

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Jesse Jones at Adams City High School…All-Metro 10 League selection as a defensive back, wide receiver and a returner…All-State honorable mention…CHSAA All-State Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Criminal Justice...Son of Aweys Shongolo and Halima Ibrahim...Chose CMU for the coaching staff, facilities and town…Aspires to become a Federal Prosecutor...Enjoys body building and mentoring.
